You can find us at 8/1 Balmukund Mackar Road. Poddar Chemical Industries is a small setup. We’ve been in this building for a long time. The street outside is usually busy with carts and people moving goods all day long. Our office isn't much to look at, just some sturdy desks and a lot of files stacked in the corners. We deal with chemicals, so there’s always a lot of technical talk and paperwork to stay on top of. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in the office at the same time. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy on the building. People who need us usually know exactly where to find the door. We spend our time checking prices and talking to the plants on the phone. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or talk about the local news. Balmukund Mackar Road is a bit of a landmark around here, so we’re easy to locate once you’re in the area. We aren't some massive corporation with layers of management. If you call, you're probably talking to one of the two or three people who are always here at their desks. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s steady work and we like it that way.
