Placement Zone

Our small office is at P.14 S.N. Roy Road in Sahapur, Kolkata. The area code is 700038. It is on a pretty busy road, so there is always something going on outside our door. Placement Zone is not a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us in a couple of rooms. The walls are a bit plain, and we have some old chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We have a few computers and a lot of landline phones that ring quite a bit during the day. Finding a place to park a bike or a car near P.14 is always a bit of a headache, so most of us just take the bus. There is a window that looks out onto S.N. Roy Road, and sometimes we just watch the traffic for a minute when we are tired. We don't have a big lobby or a fancy coffee machine. We just drink tea from the shop next door. It’s a very straightforward place to work. We spend our hours looking through lists of names and calling people up. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we all have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is. We are not trying to be anything other than a local office that helps people find work. It is a bit messy and crowded, but it feels real.
