Placement Consultancy at 135/8 Sethbagan Road. This is also in the Dumdum area of Kolkata. We are on a busy little road. The office is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to walk in. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. It’s a very straightforward job. We have some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. The walls have some old posters on them. It’s not a polished environment, just a practical one. We get a lot of dust from the road because we keep the door open for air. Sometimes the traffic noise is a bit much, but we are used to it by now. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea. Most of the people who come here are local kids looking for their first job or people trying to find something better. We just sit with them and see what we can find. It’s a lot of phone calls and manual entries in our books. We don't use any high-tech software, just the basics. It’s a bit of a slow process sometimes. The 700030 area is where we've always been. It’s just us, doing our daily routine and trying to keep the office running smoothly without too much fuss. We usually close up early on Saturdays if there is no pending work or appointments.
