Pearls Event Management

We are over here at 15/70 Jheel Road, right by the Bank Plot area in Kolkata. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We handle events, mostly. It started out small, just a few of us trying to figure out how to get things organized for local parties and weddings. Now, we spend most of our mornings on the phone with decorators or checking if the catering is going to show up on time. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes, honestly. People come in and out of the office on Jheel Road all day long. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of files, and a coffee machine that works when it wants to. Managing events means you’re always waiting for something to go wrong so you can fix it before anyone notices. We do our work, stay late when we have to, and try to make sure things run okay. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, especially with outdoor setups in Kolkata, but we manage. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, so we know most of the local vendors around here. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about event planning. It’s mostly just making sure chairs are in the right place and the lights actually turn on when they should. If you walk past the Bank Plot, you’ll probably see our sign out front.
