Paras Collection

Paras Collection is located on the second floor of a building at 159 Canal Street in Kolkata. If you know the Lake Road area, you know how crowded it gets around here. Our place is not very big, and you have to walk up the stairs to get to us. It is an old building, so the steps are a bit narrow and steep. We have been doing this for a while, mostly dealing with different types of fabrics and finished items. Kolkata weather is usually humid, so the shop can feel a bit stuffy during the monsoon months. We have racks and shelves filled with stuff, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit down. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is always someone drinking tea or talking loudly in the back. We do not have fancy lights or a big showroom. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in the 700073 area code. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and cars honking, but once you are inside on the second floor, it is a little bit quieter. We spend our days checking stock and talking to people who drop in. It is a simple life, really. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the customers get what they came for without too much fuss.
