Megha Sharma

We operate out of 3 Gabtala Lane in Kolkata, which is one of those narrow streets where you really have to know where you're going to find us. It's tucked away in the 700060 area, and the neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for generations. Megha Sharma is the name on the door, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup we have going. The humidity in West Bengal can be a lot, especially in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we sit at our desks. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It feels more like a home that turned into a workspace over time. You can hear the sounds of the street outside, kids playing or the occasional rickshaw passing by, which is just part of being in this part of town. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. When people come by, they usually just walk straight into the main room where we do most of the work. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy, but we manage to get things done anyway. Working in Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we’ve adapted to it over the years. It’s just us here, keeping things moving day by day without much fuss. If you’re looking for the place, look for the small green gate near the end of the lane. We’ve been here for a good while and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
