Palashmondal

I’m Palashmondal and I'm located at 10 Nabanagar. This is right in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. Most people know the neighborhood because of the university nearby. It’s a 700032 area. I've been at this spot for a few years now. The room I work in is small but it has enough space for all my equipment. It’s not always the tidiest place, but I know where everything is. I started out doing small jobs for friends and it just grew from there. I don't have a big fancy sign outside. Usually, people just knock on the door. Jadavpur is always noisy with the traffic and the students, but inside it's okay. I spend a lot of time on my computer. I drink a lot of coffee while I work. My neighbors are nice and they don't mind the odd hours I keep. Sometimes I’m working until two in the morning. Other times I take the afternoon off to walk around the local bazaar. It’s just me running things. I don't have a secretary or a marketing person. I just answer the phone when it rings. If I'm busy, I'll call you back later. That's just how I do things. It's a simple life and it keeps me busy enough. I hope to stay in this location for a long time. It feels like home and the community around here is very supportive of small businesses like mine.
