Orange Sky Productions

Orange Sky Productions is located on the top floor of Zahir Manzil, which is at 7 Sharif Lane in Kolkata. Our zip code is 700016. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs since we are at the very top, but we don't mind it much. The roof sometimes leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon really hits hard, but we just put a bucket down and keep working. The office is full of creative energy, and it’s usually a bit of a mess with all the production gear lying around. We have cameras, lights, and editing setups scattered across the rooms. It is definitely not a polished corporate environment. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of screens or talking about our next projects. Sharif Lane is a vibrant and noisy part of Kolkata, and you can always hear the sounds of the street coming through the windows. We like the character of this building, even if it’s a bit old and dusty. There is a sense of history here that you don't get in the newer parts of the city. We often stay late into the evening to finish up an edit, and the view of the city lights from the top floor is quite something. It’s a hardworking space where we just focus on making things. We don't have a fancy front office, just a workspace where we feel at home every day.
