Adlabs Films Ltd

We’ve been here at Adlabs Films Ltd in the Jaffarpur Schoolpara area for a good while now. The building is near the school, which makes it easy to find if you know Nona Chandan Pukur. Most people in this part of Kolkata just call this the 24 Parganas North side, and it’s a pretty busy spot with a lot going on daily. We don't really have a big fancy office, just a practical space where we get our work done. It gets quite loud outside when school lets out, but we are used to that noise by now. Being situated at 156 Jaffarpur gives us a chance to be part of the local neighborhood instead of being tucked away in some big industrial park. It’s a straightforward setup. We handle the film side of things without much fuss. Usually, there are three or four of us here making sure everything stays on track. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the lane near the school. The weather in Kolkata can be a bit much, especially in the humid months, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We’ve had some staff here for years who know the streets like the back of their hands. It's not a corporate headquarters or anything like that, just a local branch doing what it needs to do every day. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be.
