Our pharmacy business is located at 8A, Yogipara Main Road. We are right on the ground floor, which is very convenient for moving stock in and out. If you know this part of Kolkata, you know it’s a busy place with plenty of people walking by at all hours. We don’t have a fancy storefront or any bright neon signs. It’s just a regular workspace filled with shelves and boxes of pharmaceutical products. We spend our mornings checking the new arrivals and making sure everything is in the right place. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, as we have a lot of items packed into the room, but we know where every single bottle is. The staff here are just local people who have been in the trade for a while. We don't spend time on big speeches or promotional stuff. We just focus on the inventory and the orders that come in from the local clinics. There is a small tea shop nearby where we usually get our afternoon snacks, and that’s about as exciting as it gets. We handle a lot of paperwork because the medicine business has a lot of rules to follow. It’s a lot of counting, labeling, and verifying batch numbers. We stay here because we like the neighborhood and the people. It’s just a steady, everyday job for us on Yogipara Main Road, and we do it as best as we can.
