A One Unichem India

A One Unichem India is located at 8, Patutola Lane, which is just off Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarani. It is one of those old, narrow lanes where you have to be careful when walking. We have been in this building for many years. It has a lot of character, but it isn't what you would call modern. We deal with chemicals for various industrial uses. When you walk in, there is a distinct smell that you eventually get used to. It’s not a place for the general public. Mostly, we deal with factory owners or lab technicians who need specific materials. We have a lot of heavy containers and bags that we have to move around. It’s physical work. The team here is small and we’ve all worked together for a long time. We know the history of the neighborhood well. Sometimes the lane gets completely blocked by a delivery vehicle, and everything just has to stop for a bit. That’s just life in this part of the city. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us handling the paperwork and making sure the chemicals are stored correctly. We try to be helpful when people call with questions, but we don't do any big promotions. We just stay busy with our regular orders and keep the business going as it has been for years. It is a quiet but steady existence.
