M/S. Creative is tucked away at 60/49, H.P. Dutta Lane in Kolkata. If you know the West Bengal area, you know these lanes can be quite narrow and a bit tricky to navigate if you're driving a big car or trying to find a parking spot. We have been in this spot for several years now. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood with old buildings and a lot of history in the walls. Our space is just a regular office where we handle our daily business. There is no big corporate lobby or anything like that here. We just have our desks and a small corner for making tea, which we do quite often during the day. The humidity in West Bengal can be tough, especially in the afternoons, so we mostly stay indoors and keep the work moving. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or to ask for a bit of help with something. We like it that way. It's more like a family than a big company. The address 700 033 is home to us. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we are usually too busy with the actual work. It’s a bit cluttered with files and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. Life here is simple and follows a rhythm that everyone in the lane is used to. We just show up, do what needs doing, and then head home at night.
