Artex Creation

Our spot is at 178 Mahatma Gandhi Road. We are specifically on the 2nd floor in Room No. 116. It’s a very busy building on a very busy road. Getting up the stairs with big rolls of fabric can be a real chore some days. Once you get inside Room 116, it’s like a different world from the street. It’s packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. We have our sewing machines lined up and people working side by side. There isn’t much room for walking around if we have a big order. We’ve been here at this MG Road address for quite some time now. The street outside never seems to sleep, but we just try to keep our focus on the needles and the thread in front of us. It’s a small operation. We don’t have secretaries or fancy desks or anything. We just have our tools and our hands. Sometimes the dust from the cloth gets a bit much, so we keep the old fans going full blast. We do all sorts of creation work here. It’s mostly about being steady and showing up every day. We don’t rush things too much because that’s how mistakes usually happen. Most of the people working here live nearby in the city. We don’t pretend to be a big firm. We are just Artex Creation, working out of a room.
