Ms Creation

Vivekananda Road is always moving. We are at 10/4, and if you know this road, you know how loud it can get with the traffic and the constant horns. Ms Creation has been in this spot for some time now. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. It's just a place where we put things together. Every morning starts about the same, opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust that comes in from the street. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and custom work here. It's mostly about keeping the machines running and making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit out front and watch the people go by. It’s a small team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don't really have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Most of our regulars are local folks or people who have been told about us by their cousins. We don’t do much advertising; the work usually speaks for itself. It’s a bit cramped with all the stock piled up, but we know where everything is. Living and working on Vivekananda Road means you’re never bored, that’s for sure. There's always something happening right outside our door, and the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our morning chai.
