Mou Terracotta

Our little spot for Mou Terracotta is over at 90, Anandapally. If you know Jadavpur, you know it can get quite busy around here. We work with clay and terracotta, so things usually get a bit dusty. There is always some dust on the shelves and the floor, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of the job. Most days, you’ll find us tucked away in the back working on pieces. It's not a big corporate setup, just a local business trying to make things people might like for their homes. We’ve been at this address for some time now. Neighbors often drop by just to see what’s new or to have a quick chat. Jadavpur has a certain feel to it, and we like being part of that local fabric. Sometimes the weather makes the clay hard to work with, but we manage. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s more of a workshop where we keep our stock. We spend a lot of time packing things carefully so they don’t break. Shipping terracotta is always a bit stressful because it's fragile. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just like what we do and stay busy. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up for breaks. It’s a simple life at Anandapally. We hope the pieces we make find good homes.
