If you’re ever walking down Middleton Row, you’ll find us on the ground floor of number 10. It’s a convenient spot, though finding parking around here is a nightmare most mornings. International Conveyors Limited has been operating out of this space for a while. We spend a lot of time looking at specs for belts and moving parts. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s what we know. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or the printer going off. We keep a stack of old files in the corner that we really should sort through one day, but there’s always something more urgent to handle. The light in the ground floor isn't the brightest, so we have those tall lamps everywhere. Our team is pretty small, just people who have been around the industry long enough to know how things actually work on the floor. We don't spend much time on fancy meetings. Mostly, we’re just making sure orders are correct and the numbers add up. It gets a bit damp during the monsoon, being on the ground level and all, but we’ve got used to it. Lunch is usually a quick affair brought from home or something from the local stalls nearby. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the day, just keeping the conveyor business ticking along without too much fuss or bother. We just focus on the task at hand.
