You can find Micron Engineering at 400/B/1Q on Netaji Subhash Chandra Road. It’s a busy street and we’ve got a small engineering setup here. We do a lot of different things, mostly small precision parts and repairs that people bring in. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with metal shavings and various tools lying around on the benches. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to run the lathes and the milling machines. It’s quiet work in a way, even with the noise of the machines. You have to pay attention to the measurements or things won’t fit right. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just hear about us from someone else or walk in because they saw the sign on the road. It’s a lot of old-fashioned work. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and grinding. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the metal is stubborn, but that’s just how it goes. We like being on Netaji Subhash Chandra Road because it’s easy for people to stop by. We’ve got a routine down now. We open up early, get the machines warmed up, and start on whatever is next on the list. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a phone that rings now and then.
