Mafoi

You can find us over at Ekta Heights, on the seventh floor. The address is 56 Raja S.C. Mallick Road, which is a pretty well-known part of Kolkata. We’ve been working from this office as Mafoi for quite a while now. Most of our time is spent on staffing and helping people find their way into new roles. It’s a busy environment because the city is always looking for workers. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of corporate slogans. We just look at people’s experience and see where they might fit in. The 7F floor gives us a bit of a view, but we’re usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just one that actually listens to what people need. Kolkata is a place where relationships matter, so we spend a lot of time talking. Sometimes the interviews go long, or the phones don't stop ringing all afternoon. It’s just the nature of the work. We use simple English and don't try to confuse anyone with technical talk. We are just a group of people in an office trying to help other people get jobs. It’s a straightforward process, even if it gets a bit messy with all the resumes and scheduling. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for everyone to reach.
