Living Media India Limited (India Today)

Our location is in Barasat, specifically at Garer Dhar. We are right near the Ajad Sangha Club. If you are sending mail, the P.O. is Chandannagore in the Hooghly district. It is a bit of a confusing address for some, but we have been here for quite a while. Living Media India Limited is the company, and we handle things for India Today. The office is close to the club, so there is often some activity or music coming from that direction, especially during festivals. It is a local building, nothing like those tall towers in the city. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of printed materials lying around. It feels very much like a community spot. People know we are here because of the club landmark. The rooms are a bit small, and the walls are filled with old calendars and maps. We don't bother with corporate polish or fancy speeches. We just get the distribution or the reporting done as required. The commute can be a bit long depending on where you are coming from, but once you get here, it is a steady place to work. We drink our tea together in the afternoons and talk about the news. It is a plain, straightforward environment. There is no need for anything more complicated than that. We are just a part of the local landscape here.
