We are located at 9 Miajan Lane, near the Jhowtala post office. It’s a bit of a narrow lane, so you have to look closely to find us sometimes if you aren't from around here. We’ve been doing this kind of work for a long time, and the shop shows it. There are spots of ink on the benches and the floors have some stains that won't ever come out no matter how much we scrub. We do lithography and other art-related printing, which is a bit of a slow process compared to the new digital ways. We still use some older equipment because we like the way the results look in the end. It takes a bit more effort to set everything up correctly, but that’s just how we learned to do it. The air in here usually smells like solvent and paper. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the plates and the presses. It's a quiet kind of work most of the time, very focused on the details. We get people coming in with specific projects they want done a certain way, and we sit down and talk through it with them. We don't have a big sign out front or anything, mostly just people who know we are here from word of mouth or old connections. It's a steady way to spend the day, working with our hands.
