Lata Bangles Stores

Lata Bangles Stores is situated over at Plot No-23 on Kalakar Street. This is right in the heart of the Bara Bazar area which everyone knows is the busiest part of the city. Jorasanko is just around the corner and you can feel the old history of the place every time you walk down the road. The street is quite narrow so things can get a bit tight when the delivery vans are trying to squeeze through. We have been operating out of this small space for quite some time now. It is basically just a room filled with boxes and things we need for the day. My father used to say that if you can survive a day in Bara Bazar, you can survive anywhere. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking right outside the door. We keep the shutters up from morning until late at night. Sometimes it gets so crowded you can barely see the pavement. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have so we all look out for each other. It is just a humble little shop where we try to get things done without too much fuss. Kalakar Street is our home and we like it that way even with all the noise.
