Krishnendudhar

I’m Krishnendudhar and my place is located at 15/1A on Kaliprasad Chakrobarty Street. That’s in the northern part of Kolkata, 700003. It’s one of those old streets that has seen a lot of history over the years. The buildings here are close together and the lanes are narrow, which gives it a very specific feeling you don’t get in the newer parts of town. I do my work from here, surrounded by the sounds of the city and the occasional tram or rickshaw passing by. It is not a polished office with air conditioning and fancy furniture. It is more of a lived-in space where I can focus on my tasks. I’ve always preferred the atmosphere of North Kolkata because it feels more real and grounded. I don’t use a lot of big business terms because they don’t really fit how I operate. I just talk to people plainly and try to get my daily list finished. Sometimes the humidity is a lot to deal with, but you just drink some water and keep going. Being on Kaliprasad Chakrobarty Street means I’m close to everything I need, and I know the local shops well enough to get by. It is a modest setup, just me handling the responsibilities that come my way. I like the independence of it. There is no boss watching over my shoulder, just the work that needs to be finished by the time the sun goes down.
