Kitchen Appliance India Ltd Sansui Electronic

We operate out of 4/B Sitanath Road in Kolkata. It’s in the northern part of the city, in the Kolkata 6 area. The building is an old one, with those thick walls and high ceilings you see in this part of town. We’ve been here for quite a long time, dealing with all sorts of kitchen appliances and electronics like Sansui products. It’s a very busy street, and the noise from the trams and the traffic is constant. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with boxes of stoves, ovens, and spare parts piled up in different rooms. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. The floor is a bit uneven and the lighting could be better, but it’s where the work gets done. We have a small crew that handles the repairs and the sales. Most of the people who come to us have been customers for years, or they were sent by someone we know. We don’t do any big television ads or billboards. We just focus on the appliances that come across our desks. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting down Sitanath Road because it’s so narrow, but we manage somehow. It’s a very traditional way of running a business, based more on handshakes and long-term relationships than anything else. We’re just a fixture in the neighborhood, part of the daily life on this old Kolkata street. It’s nothing fancy, just our workplace where we spend our days.
