Khaitan Electronics

You can find Khaitan Electronics over on M N Roy Road in the Rajpur area of Kolkata. We are at number 22, right in Jhautala. It’s a typical Kolkata neighborhood, full of life and sometimes a bit of chaos. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to pack it with all sorts of electronic items and parts. Most days are spent either testing gadgets or talking to folks who need something fixed. We don’t go for those polished sales pitches. If a part works, we tell you, and if it doesn't, we say that too. It gets quite humid here, especially in the summers, so the ceiling fan is always running at full speed. We’ve got a couple of guys who are really good with their hands and can figure out why a circuit isn't working. It’s a lot of sitting behind a counter and tinkering with wires. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in West Bengal; we just like being the place where the locals can come to get their electronics sorted out. The street outside is always busy with rickshaws and people walking by. It's a bit noisy, but we like the energy of Jhautala. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so the locals know us by name. It’s just a regular business where we try to be useful and keep the lights on.
