Kingfisher Airlines Ltd, Ub Group Company

Our office is located at 23 Ramlal Bazar Road, which is right in the Haltu area of Kolkata. It’s a pretty lively spot with people moving around the bazaar all the time. This place belongs to the Kingfisher Airlines group, under the UB Group umbrella, and we have been at this address for quite some years now. The building isn't anything like those glass towers you see in the newer parts of the city. It has a more traditional feel that matches the rest of the Haltu neighborhood. We handle various administrative things from here, keeping the records and the back-end stuff moving along. If you walk down the road, you’ll see the usual local tea stalls and small shops that make this part of South Kolkata what it is. It can get pretty crowded during the market hours, so getting to the office sometimes takes a bit of extra time. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything. It's mostly just desks and people working on their computers. Some of us have been here long enough to know all the local shopkeepers by name. The work can be quiet one day and then very busy the next, depending on what needs to be sorted out for the company. We just go about our business without making much of a fuss. It’s a grounded place to work, right in the middle of a real Kolkata community. We like it that way because it feels more like home than a cold corporate office.
