Kaffeine Entertainment Pvt Ltd is based out of the Metropolitan Housing Society in the Dhapa area of Kolkata. We are tucked away in Sector B, not too far from the Chingrighata bus stop. It’s a quiet residential spot which is nice because it gives us some room to think. We focus on entertainment stuff, which usually means a lot of coordination and late-night emails. Being near the bus stop makes it easy for the staff to get in and out, though the roads can get pretty muddy during the monsoon season. Our space is filled with old posters and some equipment we use for various shows. We don't really bother with being corporate. We just like music and events and making sure people have a good time when they go out. Sometimes we are out at venues more than we are in the office. It's a small team here. We've worked on a lot of different projects around Kolkata, from small club nights to bigger festivals. Dealing with logistics in Dhapa has its quirks, but we’ve lived here long enough to know the shortcuts. If you ever drop by, you’ll probably find us arguing over a playlist or checking a tech rider. We don’t have any big slogans. We just work hard and try to stay organized. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes but we wouldn't change it. It keeps life interesting for us every single day.
