K Chemicals

K Chemicals operates out of 10-B on Burdwan Road. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to some of the main markets, which is good for us. Our building is mostly a mix of storage space and a small office area. We handle various chemical products, so there is always a specific smell in the air when you walk in. We spend a lot of time making sure all the drums and containers are labeled correctly and stored where they should be. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. We have to be careful with how things are moved around, so we don't rush through the work. The office side of things is pretty basic—just a couple of desks, a computer, and a lot of logbooks. We keep track of what comes in and what goes out to our customers. It’s not a flashy place at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture has seen better days, but it works for what we do. On Burdwan Road, you see a lot of delivery vans passing by. Most of our day is spent coordinating these pickups and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s just a few of us running the show here. We prefer it this way, keeping things simple and focusing on the inventory we have in the warehouse. We don't need much more than that to get through the day.
