You can find us right under the Hotel Sahara Palace, at 4, Centre Point. It’s a busy spot just outside the S.T. Gate. Jyoti Chemical has been operating from this basement-level space for a good while now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but the regulars know where we are. We keep a lot of containers and drums around, so space is always a bit tight. The smell of different chemicals is something you just get used to after a few days. We spend most of our time measuring things out and labeling bottles for local workshops and small factories. It’s practical work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The noise from the traffic outside the gate is constant, but we don't mind it much. We aren't a big corporation with departments; it’s just us handling the orders as they come in. If the phone rings, one of us picks it up, usually with blue-stained fingers from some dye or another. We don’t have a fancy showroom because we don't really need one. People come to us because they know we have what they need for their own processes. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in this part of town. We just try to stay organized and get the right chemicals to the right people without making things more complicated than they need to be.
