Jupiter Infomedia Ltd, Kolkata is found at 35/H, N.S.C Bose Road. We are tucked into Chanditala Lane, which is in the Kolkata-40 area. If you know South Kolkata, you know how N.S.C Bose Road is always humming with people, autos, and buses. Chanditala Lane is a little bit of an escape from that main road madness. Our building is one of those typical Kolkata structures that has seen plenty of seasons. It’s got high ceilings and those heavy doors. Working here means you’re right in the middle of everything. You can hear the distant honking of the traffic while you’re trying to type. We don’t have a modern lobby or anything like that. You just walk down the lane and find the number 35/H. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks and some old wooden cupboards filled with papers. The walls have some marks on them from where chairs have bumped into them over the years. We drink a lot of tea here, usually bought from the shop at the corner of the lane. Kolkata is a city that doesn’t sleep much, and our office feels like it’s a small part of that old energy. It’s not perfect, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s our corner of the city. We show up, we do the work, and we head back out into the Kolkata crowd. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving.
