Jay Jay Creations is situated at 10/11 Kabi Bharat Chandra Road, on the ground floor of the Shivalaya building. It’s a fairly easy place to spot once you get onto the right street. Being on the ground floor is great because we can see everything happening outside on the road. Kabi Bharat Chandra Road can get quite narrow, so things often get backed up with rickshaws and bikes, which provides a bit of entertainment while we work. Our space inside is divided into a few sections where we keep our tools and the things we are currently making. It’s not a polished studio; there are bits and pieces of projects everywhere you look. We have a few old wooden chairs for when we need to sit down and take a break. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few notes we’ve taped up so we don't forget any deadlines. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working with our hands and trying to make things that look decent. Most of our customers are people from nearby who have heard about us through word of mouth. We like it that way because it keeps things personal. When you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us covered in whatever material we’re using that day. It’s a simple, honest way to spend our time, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood.
