Jai Mata Di Road Construction

Jai Mata Di Road Construction is based out of a small place at 6/25/1 in Vijaygarh. Most of our work happens out on the actual roads though, so the office is mostly just where we keep the paperwork and the heavy keys. We have been handling road work for a long time, and it is definitely not an easy way to make a living. You are always dealing with the weather, whether it’s too much rain or the sun beating down on the asphalt. Our crew spends a lot of time around heavy rollers and mixers, and you end up smelling like tar for days after a big job. Vijaygarh is our home base, and we know the streets around here pretty well because we have probably patched up half of them at some point. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the trucks arrive on time and the materials are right. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. Word usually just gets around because people see our equipment out on the sites. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down right in the middle of a pour, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours standing on hot pavement, but there is something satisfying about seeing a road go from a mess of potholes to a smooth surface people can actually drive on.
