We are up on the 4th floor at 51 Ezra Street. If you’ve ever been to Ezra Street, you know it’s the place to go for anything electrical or lighting related. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and packed with shops and people carrying heavy loads. Isg Global is right in the middle of all that chaos. Our office is a bit of an escape from the noise downstairs, although the sounds of horns honking still reach us. The elevator in the building is quite old and makes some alarming noises, so many of us just take the stairs for the exercise. Inside, it’s a typical workspace with desks pushed close together. We have a lot of files and old catalogues sitting around. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so we usually tidy up our own desks. Ezra Street has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere. It’s all about trade and getting things done. We fit right in with that mindset. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek corporate image. We just do our work at Isg Global and try to keep our clients happy. Lunch usually comes from one of the local vendors nearby. It’s spicy and cheap. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and we’ve grown to appreciate the grit of the neighborhood over the years. We spend our days answering phones and tracking shipments. It is busy and sometimes quite messy, but it is what we do.
