You can find our IMRB office at A 14 in the H P C Housing Complex, located in the HC Block of Salt Lake, Kolkata-97. It’s a bit unusual for a business to be inside a housing complex, but it actually works out quite well for us. It’s much quieter than being out on the main roads, although we do have to deal with the typical neighborhood noises like kids playing or people calling out to each other. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rooms filled with computers and filing cabinets where we keep all our research data. It’s not the kind of place with a sleek design or expensive furniture. We have some mismatched chairs and a big table where we all sit to go over the numbers. The walls are a neutral color and could probably use some pictures, but we never got around to it. We spend most of our time concentrating on the surveys and reports we have to finish. Sometimes the water pressure in the building isn't great, or the lift takes a long time to arrive, but we’ve grown used to those little quirks of the complex. We are a small group and we mostly keep to ourselves, focusing on getting the data right for the projects we handle. Salt Lake is a nice area to walk around during our lunch break, which is one of the perks of being stationed here. It’s just a steady, quiet place to get our work done every day.
