Hira Chemical Co.

Our shop is at Number 22 on Bonfield Lane. If you know this area, you know how tight the lanes can be. It’s an old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of character, even if they are a bit worn out. Hira Chemical Co. has been operating from this same spot for years. The inside is filled with rows of chemical bottles and heavy drums. The floor is old stone that has seen better days. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a few old chairs for when someone needs to wait. Dealing with chemicals in such a busy lane means we have to be very careful with how we move things in and out. The handcarts and delivery vans are always jockeying for space outside. It gets quite loud with the shouting of the laborers and the honking of the bikes. We take our lunch breaks right here at the desk most days. There is a specific way the light hits the lane in the late afternoon, making everything look a bit dusty. We deal with all sorts of people, from small workshop owners to bigger buyers. It’s a traditional way of doing business, mostly face-to-face. We don't use much technology here, just our experience and a few old notebooks to keep things in order.
