Himadri Chemicals Industries Ltd. is up on the second floor of Ruby House. If you know India Exchange Place, you know it is a busy spot. Number 8 is where we spend our days. It is an old building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings. We are in the chemical business, but this is the office side of things. It is mostly desks, phones, and a lot of paperwork. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or checking on shipments. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and people moving around the city, but inside we try to keep things organized. We are not trying to be the most modern office in the world. We have our files, our computers, and our tea breaks. It feels like a workplace where people have known each other for years. We do not go in for those flashy decorations. It is more about getting the numbers right and making sure the orders are moving along. Being in the heart of the business district means there is always a lot of energy around. We have been in this building for a long time. It has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes takes its time, but it is home for us. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything runs the way it is supposed to. No fuss, really. Just a bunch of regular people doing their jobs the best way we know how.
