You can find us at 33, Taru Chaya Apartment. It’s right there in Vivekananda Nagar, Tollygunge. Working out of an apartment building gives things a bit of a different feel than a regular office block. It’s more personal, I guess. We share the space with the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing or people going about their grocery shopping. Tollygunge is a lively part of town, and we’ve grown to like the rhythm of it. We mostly handle things related to our projects right from these rooms. The desks are usually piled with papers and some half-empty coffee mugs. It’s a small operation here at Gs & Vpl, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you’re on the phone and the next you’re trying to fix the printer. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working away at our computers or arguing about a specific detail on a plan. It gets a bit cramped when we have everyone in at once, but we make it work. The traffic in this area can be a bit of a pain, especially during rush hour, but that’s Kolkata for you. We’ve been at this for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon because this is home for us now.
