Green World Corporation

Green World Corporation has its office at P-564, Lake Road. It’s a nice enough spot, being near the water, though we spend most of our time inside looking at screens or talking on the phone. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character, though the plumbing can be temperamental sometimes. We’ve set up our workspace to be as functional as possible. Most of our time is dedicated to environmental projects and sustainability stuff, but the daily reality is a lot of spreadsheets and coordinating with field teams. It’s quiet on Lake Road compared to the main highways, which we appreciate when we’re trying to focus on a difficult report. We don't have a big corporate feel here. It’s more like a group of people who have been working together for years. We eat lunch together most days at the small table in the back. Our files are organized in a way that only we really understand, but it works for us. People come by to talk about green energy or waste management, and we just give them the facts without any fluff. It’s honest work that takes a lot of planning. We try to keep the overhead low so we can focus on the actual projects. It's a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but the quiet makes up for it. We’re just a local bunch trying to do our part every day.
