Festoon Media

We are based at Flat - E1A in the Swapneel Apartment building here in Kolkata. Since we are in an apartment, it doesn’t really feel like a cold corporate office, which is nice for us. We do media work, so there are usually a lot of cables and screens lying around the place. Our address is 700 052, and it’s a fairly quiet residential neighborhood most of the time. We spend our days editing videos or working on designs, and we go through a lot of tea while we do it. The balcony of the flat is where we usually go when we need a break from looking at the monitors. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to make things that look good. We don’t have any big signs or a fancy reception desk. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us in our casual clothes working away. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Kolkata. We don't really have a big plan or a mission statement. We just like doing this kind of work and having our own space to do it in. Swapneel Apartment has been a good home for Festoon Media so far. We just take things one day at a time and try to finish our projects without staying up too late.
