Ray Of Hope

Ray Of Hope is located on the 1st floor of No. 8/32 A Fern Road. We are quite close to the Gariahat Crossing and right opposite a shop called Image N Style. We are near Gariahat Crossing, which is always a busy spot. Being on the first floor makes it a bit more private and quieter than the street level where all the shopping happens. We have a few rooms here where we talk to people and offer some support. It isn't a medical clinic in the traditional sense, but more of a place where people can come when they need someone to listen. We have some simple furniture, a few plants, and windows that let in some light. The building is a bit older, so the stairs can be a little steep. We are just a small team of people who wanted to do something useful in this part of town. We don't have any big corporate sponsors or a lot of fancy equipment. Most of our day is spent sitting and talking or handling the basic chores that come with keeping the place open. Gariahat is a very noisy and hectic area, so we try to keep our space feeling a bit more calm. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most people find out about us from someone else they know. It is a humble place, and we are happy to be here on Fern Road. We stay open until the evening.
