Pg Physiotherapy Clinic

Being right near the Tollygunge Metro Station in Kolkata means we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a constant sound that we’ve just gotten used to over time. The clinic is a small space where we spend our hours helping people move a bit better. We have a few treatment tables and some basic equipment tucked into the corners. The humidity in Tollygunge can be quite something, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. People usually walk over from the station, often looking a bit tired from the commute. We don’t have a big fancy waiting room, just a few chairs against the wall where people sit and chat while they wait. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the years. We keep our schedules in a big paper ledger because it’s just easier for us that way. Around tea time, someone usually goes out to grab a few cups for the staff. It’s a simple routine we follow every day. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard we have to shut the door to keep the water from splashing in. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often see them passing by our window. It’s a busy part of town, but inside here, things move a bit slower as people focus on their exercises. We just try to keep the place tidy and stay on top of the appointments as they come in. It is just how we work.
