Fair & Media

We have been here at P-5 on Dr.A.K.Paul Road for a while now. Behala is a crowded place, especially with all the traffic near the crossing, but this spot works for us. Fair & Media is just a small team of us working in the office every day. It’s not a big corporate building or anything fancy, just a regular space where we get things done. Most mornings start with someone bringing in tea and then we just get to the media work. Some days are really loud because of the street noise outside, but you get used to it after a month or two. We handle different projects that come our way, mostly dealing with local stuff. People often drop by to ask questions or just to see what we are doing in here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a practical setup. We have our desks, the computers are usually running all day, and there is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Living and working in South Kolkata has its own rhythm. We don’t try to act like some huge agency from the city center. We just stay here in Behala and do what needs to be done. If you know the area, you know how hard it is to find parking, so most of us just take the bus or walk. It is a simple life at the office.
