Efedra Pharmaceuticals Private Limited is based at 92 Usha Pally in the Garia area of Kolkata. We’ve been working out of this spot for a bit now. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood, which makes it a bit calmer than the city center. We handle pharma products and spend our days coordinating with various suppliers. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier to move things in and out. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small one by the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the files. We have a couple of computers and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s a friendly environment. We know the local tea stall owner and the people who live nearby. Our work involves a lot of checking and double-checking of order lists. We try to be careful so we don't make mistakes with the deliveries. It’s not a fast-paced environment where everyone is stressed out. We take our time to do things right. Sometimes we sit out on the porch for a few minutes when the weather is nice. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to provide a steady supply of medicine to the shops we work with. It’s a simple life at Usha Pally, and that’s how we like it. We keep our overheads low and our focus on the daily tasks. That’s enough for us. The cat from next door often comes in to sit under the desk.
