If you’ve ever walked around Golpark near Sarat Bose Road, you’ve probably seen where we are. Educare Services Pvt Ltd, which most people know as Focus Institute for Engineering, is right in the middle of all that Kolkata bustle. We are located at 23/34, not too far from South City College. It’s a very busy area with students everywhere and people rushing to catch the bus. Our space is usually full of young people who are trying to figure out their engineering exams. It’s not a quiet library type of place; it’s more of a working environment. There are always stacks of practice papers and old textbooks lying around on the desks. We don’t have fancy carpets or designer furniture. It’s just tables, chairs, and whiteboards that have seen better days. The staff here spends most of the time answering questions or helping someone find a specific book. Gariahat Road is always loud outside, so we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and trams while we work. It’s a practical setup for students who are serious about their studies. We don’t spend much time on decorations because the focus is always on the work at hand. Most of our students find us because they live nearby or go to the colleges around here. It’s just a plain office where a lot of studying happens every day of the week.
