Economics Industries

We are based out of Mall Road in Kolkata. It’s pretty easy to find our place if you know where the Central Jail bus stop is. You just walk a bit further down and we are located near the Dumdum Ordinance Factory area. Economics Industries is the name on the door, but we are basically just a small industrial unit doing our daily work. We’ve been at 27B for quite a long time now. The street outside gets incredibly crowded during the shift changes at the nearby factory. We mostly deal with manufacturing and supplying various types of parts. It gets noisy sometimes and there’s always a bit of dust coming in from the road, but we are used to it by now. We have a small team of guys who have been working with us since we first started out. It’s definitely not a shiny or polished corporate place. To be honest, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But the machines are in good shape and we make sure the orders get out the door. My father was the one who started this business and now I’m the one handling all the day-to-day stuff. We don't spend any money on fancy ads or anything like that. People in the trade just know where we are. If you're coming by to see us, just look for the old metal gate. It’s a practical workspace and nothing more. We just focus on the job at hand and keep things moving.
