We operate out of 32/1 Radha Kanta on Jew Street, which stays pretty busy most days of the week. Being on Jew Street means there is always noise from the shops nearby and people walking past the entrance. At Dream Land Solar Energy Systems Ltd., we mostly deal with parts and equipment that take up a lot of room. Our space isn't exactly a showroom; it’s more like a working office with stuff tucked into every corner. It can be a bit of a maze back there. Most of us have been working together for years now. We know the neighbors and the delivery guys know exactly where to drop things off even when the street is blocked up. It gets pretty hot inside during the peak of summer, but that’s just part of it. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure things are ready to go out. The building itself is older, but it serves us well enough for what we need. You won’t find any shiny brochures here. We usually just have a cup of tea and talk through what needs to get done for the day. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is ironic given what we do, but we just roll with it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep our doors open and try to stay organized, even if the piles of paperwork say otherwise.
