Dipankar Saha

I'm Dipankar Saha and I live and work at 14, Bharat Pally in Bonhoogly, Kolkata. This part of the city has its own rhythm. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic and people moving about, but I've grown used to it over the years. My address is 700108 if you're looking for the pin code. I've set up my work right here at home. It’s nothing fancy, just a desk and some shelves for my files. I think it’s better this way because I don’t have to commute through the Kolkata heat every morning. I started doing this because I wanted something manageable. I don’t have any employees or a big board of directors. It’s just me. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, which is nice. I try to keep my work simple and not get bogged down in complicated details. I’m not a fan of those polished business brochures. I'd rather just talk to people like a human being. Life in Bonhoogly is pretty straightforward. You have your local markets and your familiar faces. That's how my work is too. I do what I need to do, day in and day out. It might not be exciting to everyone, but it’s my living and I’m okay with that. I don't feel the need to pretend to be a bigger company than I actually am. It is just me in a regular house doing my best.
