Diligent Media Corporation Ltd ( Dna)

Working at HB- 2/4 in Salt Lake is actually pretty nice because the streets are wider than in the rest of Kolkata. We are the DNA team, or Diligent Media Corporation Ltd as it says on the official papers. The office is located in a part of Salt Lake that is fairly easy to reach. We have a routine here that starts around ten in the morning. The building is a standard block house that has been converted into an office space. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of computers and people talking on their phones. Media work can be a bit chaotic with deadlines always breathing down your neck, but we try to keep it calm in the office. There’s a small pantry area where we keep the kettle, and that’s probably the most popular spot in the whole place. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and see everyone working. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold and everyone has to wear sweaters, even in the middle of May. We deal with news and stories every single day, so there is never a boring moment. It’s a lot of typing and checking facts. We aren't trying to be the flashiest media house in the country, just a group of people in 700106 getting the work done. It’s a steady job and we like the neighborhood because you can find good food nearby.
