We set up shop for Patco Tech India Pvt. Ltd. near the Dankuni More on Delhi Road. It is a very industrial part of the area, especially being so close to the Dankuni Coal Complex. You can hear the big trucks rolling by all day long. The 51 bus stand is right nearby which makes it easy for anyone coming by public transport. Our office is a bit of a practical space. We do not have anything fancy like leather sofas or art on the walls. It is mostly just metal shelves and workbenches where we handle our technical business. The air can get a bit dusty because of all the activity outside on the road. We have been here for a long time and we know the other business owners around the area. It is a tough spot but it suits the kind of work we do. We spend most of our hours troubleshooting and fixing things. There is always a pot of tea going in the back room. We do not really have a formal way of doing things. We just talk to each other across the room and get the tasks finished as they come in. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes through the door. It is a straightforward life here on Delhi Road. We like the fact that it is a working neighborhood and not some shiny business park.
