We operate out of 125 SN Roy Road in Kolkata. It is a simple spot where we handle recruitment and human resources tasks for various companies. The neighborhood is typical for this part of the city, with a lot of older houses and small shops scattered around. We spend most of our time matching people with different jobs. It is not a fancy corporate setup; it is more like a small office that grew out of a home. We have a few chairs for visitors and some desks that are usually piled high with resumes. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in paper, but we eventually sort it all out. We like being on SN Roy Road because it is easy for people to find us using public transport. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and we try to keep up with that pace. Our team is just a handful of folks who know how to talk to people. We do not use a lot of complicated jargon when we interview new candidates. We just want to see if they can actually do the job. Some days are very slow and we just sit and drink tea while looking through our emails. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing and everyone is busy. We just take it as it comes. It is an honest way to make a living.
