Chique Fashion Accessories

We are up on the second floor of the Metropolis Mall in Hiland Park. Chique Fashion Accessories takes up two spots, shop 218 and 022. It is a mall setting, so it is a bit different than a street shop, but we try to keep it feeling grounded. We have got all sorts of small things packed onto the shelves. It is mostly just us two working here, rotating shifts. The mall gets quite loud on the weekends with all the families walking around Panchasayar. We spend a lot of our time rearranging the displays because people tend to pick things up and put them back in the wrong spots. It is part of the routine. We are not a giant chain or anything like that. We just rent this space and try to sell accessories that we think look okay. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk to the other shop owners on the floor. It is a nice community even if it is inside a big building. The lighting in here is a bit bright, but it helps people see the details on the bags and jewelry. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. We just open up when the mall opens and close when they tell us to. It is a steady way to spend the day here at Metropolis Mall. Most people just stumble upon us while shopping for other things.
